In the hearth of Costa

the foothill of the mountain, near a river, close to a coffee
plantation, with a beautiful view on the Irazu Volcano and the Orosi
Valley, our spacious guesthouse offers you a huge space, with
sleeping area, en-suite bathroom (solar water heater), separate
toilets, a relaxing sitting area with TV and DVD reader, WIFI and
personal computer available in the main house (you can hire DVDs at the
DVD shop in the nearby village), a lovely pebble-made open fire place
(we supply wood) and a 
kitchenette entirely
equipped (china for 4 people and basical products: condiment, oil, ice
cube, cleaners, …).
Your hostess, marie Claire, can prepare you some delicious French food, which you probably will enjoy, or even organize cooking lessons, if you are interested.
The king
size bed (can be split in two single beds) is top quality as is the
further daybed for a
third
person. Another bed is available on request.
Bedding and linen are included, and changed every week for stays longer
than 6 nights.
The
private covered terrace has a dining area with BBQ, 2 sun beds and a
solar heated spa for two people. You will enjoy to sunbath while
admiring the view on the Irazu Volcano.
Our guesthouse is the ideal spot to relax and unwind during your stay, in total harmony with the quiet surrounding nature.
Located on the East of the Central Valley and Cartago, the Orosi Valley is known to be one of the most beautiful scenery in Costa Rica, enjoying a mild climate all year around (25 ºC during the day, 18 ºC during the night).
If you travel by plane, we could welcome you personally at the Juan Santamaria San Jose International Airport (SJO) and get you back there on departure for a small charge.
Alternatively, we can arrange the airport transfer. If you decide to hire a car at the airport, we will provide you a map and full directions. At your arrival, we will welcome you with a lunch or a cold drink (depending on your arrival time) and you will find all the necessary to arrange your first breakfast.
